Nidderdale Abstractions:
A Place Among The Stones
A Place Among the Stones comes from walking high fields close by with boulders, field boundaries, scrubby trees and scudding clouds. The painting is exploring a visual language to record these things in a non-literal way.
The painting is made in a large number of overlaid opaque acrylic layers, in a fresh spring palette.
It’s framed in a bespoke hand painted contemporary floater frame, painted in a neutral off-white to suit any interior.
30cm x 30 cm on canvas panel
